Dr. Utting: Drosophila eat the fungi that ferments the banana into alcohol, so they're going to get a nice dose of alcohol. If they can't break it down, they're going to get tipsy and won't fly straight and when they walk down the street, they're going to fall on the pavement--oh wait, that's me.

Dr. Pathak: Did you guys like uh know that these coffee cups have like a lid? I discovered this like a year ago and I thought it was kind of uhh like uncomfortable that you had to like hold the lid up. But one day I noticed there was like an indent the same exact shape as the lid and I pressed and it like uhh, just stayed there. Is this like... common knowledge?

Dr. Pathak: Oh, because for a moment, I thought I had like invented it. But I guess not.
